Those trucks variants differ in mainly the engine they use....they are stiill pretty much the same truck.
You might wanna consider that the Chevy Silverado sales don't include those from GMC truck. Slap those numbers in there and the chevy would go way past the F150.
The impala don't includes the sales from the grand prix, and the buick park avenue which is basically the same car. Combine those and they should hit about 500,000 a year.
Same goes for the Trail blazer. They don't include the Envoy and such.
What is really unfair is that Ford would put the Explorer and the Sport Trac together. The Sport track i heard don't even share the same platform...........only the name. Same goes for the Camry and Solora. Toyota added both of them together even when 1 of them was redesigned while the solora hasn't changed yet.
The worst abuse of this is how Toyota combines the sales of the Matrix and the corolla. I know both share some parts but common, they are 2 very different vehicles.

Know what else sucks, that all these lists are US-focused. For these numbers to be even more interesting they'd be compared to the world sales numbers in a pie chart or something and show world sales compared to Europe, US, Asia, etc.

That list is totally misleading - Sure there were alot of trucks sold, I'll bet a hughe majority were fleet sales - you know, to delivery and service companies. I know the Camry is on popular rental car (I don't think the Accord is though).
Volume of sales means nothing really. Just because the masses buy a large volume of anything does not indicate it is better than another.
