The reason for a 2003.5 is because those have several interior and exterior updates that the previous cars don't.
To my knowledge, the only differenece between the 2003.5 and previous years is that the 2003.5 and up have LED taillights. Other than that I believe they are the same...

So if I find a good deal on one that doesn't include the warranty, what do I need to do to purchase one?

Can I buy a used M3 from an individual and transfer the warranty over into my name?

The HVAC controls are slightly different, IRC. I think the CD player also supports MP3 but that might be the 04s.

S2KNightrider, I think you can find a warranty from a third party but you have to make sure they're reputable.

Also, if you buy a used one with remaining factory warranty, the warranty IS transferable. However, with third party extended warranties, you'll have to contact the company that is covering the car.

I'm a little confused...

A third party? Isn't a warranty supplied by the dealerships?

What kinda company is covering a M3's warranty besides BMW?

Could you clear that up for me

BMW covers everything up until 4years/50,000 miles, bumper to bumper, with nothing out of your pocket. The standard warranty is transferable. If you want a warranty after that and you're not buying a CPO M3, you'll have to purchase a warranty from a third party.

The CPO warranty raises the standard 4yr/50,000 mile warranty to a 6yr/100,000 warranty. The coverage is slightly different. They don't cover certain parts and if you need a repair, the deductible is $50 per incident.

You can't purchase the extended warranty from BMW unless you were the original owner.

I'm just mad about the spelling, we do have spell check, correct?

and am in a "delima "of deciding
"Posatives" <--that one kills me
"Luxerious"
"Maintinence"
"Brembro's" brembo's!?
oh yeah, I think M3 has 333hp not 330, not that it really matters

soo, my conclusion is, I dont think you should sell your S. I think you should spend the extra money and take some english 101 classes. Did you graduate highschool yet? GED? Sorry man, not trying to be an ass, but we do have spell check
