Congrats man. Imagine, that, a car with 400+ hp, relatively low weight, great proportions, but lackluster interior would make a sportscar worth buying, who would've known. Awesome car, I've only ever bought one scale model car, on a whim, and it's a C5Z in black, still got it too.

Different strokes for different folks... I have a friend who recently got a killer deal on a low mileage, pristine '08 Z06 w/ ~600 rwhp. He just blew the engine, and it's not looking liks such a great deal any more.

The LS7 has been known to drop valves even on completely stock daily driven cars. A few people have experienced this and some even under warranty had issues with GM replacing the motor. I was really interested in picking up a used C6Z in a few years before I read up on this. Now I think I will wait until C7s drop into the mid 30k range or pick up a C6 Grand Sport.

I think the C6Z has other potential weaknesses, one of which I recall being very thin cylinder walls. Do you recommend replacing them as well?

The FRS/BRZ has much better seats, nicer interior, probably a better chassis, much better gas mileage, much cheaper on consumables wear, full warranty, and will probably be more reliable.
The C5 Z06 is much faster in a straight line.
I dig both, and would be happy to own either one, but you can't fault anyone for picking one over the other -it's all a matter of priorities.
