After trying just about every other car I've considered recently, I have a renewed appreciation for my Z06: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/103...-for-my-s2000/

Just can't beat it Chris... I still have a little joy walking to my z after work just to drive it. Its already been 2 months and I love burning gas in it, worth every extra cubic inch.

C'mon, an LS6 deserves better than a Fram filter!

Haha what would you reccomend Chris? I just grabbed what was handy. I've heard so many filter stories one way or the other. Are some really better?

Bosch, Wix, Mobil 1, K&N are all good. Just not fram, I've seen too many cut apart to see how cheaply they're made.

I always just bought oem because it usually comes with the drain plug washer and the price difference is usually insignificant.

BTW, I'm starting my Z06 track prep to get it ready for its first track day 9/7. Ordered DRM brake package (ducting, SS pistons, caliper rebuild kit, SS lines, Motul fluid), harness mounts, Carbotech pads (RP2 F/XP10 R), Nitto NT05's, and already have Brey-Krause harness bar. It's going to Texas Track Works next week for fresh tranny, diff, and power steering fluid.

I'll still have a lot more to do after that, but it s/b enough to allow me to have a great time
