I was going to point out the 3.0L in the 1998 but Rai got it first!
It is possible they hit a wrong button while listing it, or they are just stupid about their own car. I am pretty sure this guy was a doctor and really wasn't a car guy.

this entire thing may be a big ebay scam though.... it sounded good....

I would pay $40k for a 30,000 miles 1997 or newer NSX that was in good shape.

Something must be wrong with the car. How did you know I plan to pick up an NSX to use in Atl this summer?
You're picking up an NSX for personal use?

I'm flabbergasted. After all the comments about how it underperforms for the cost, is no longer competitive, etc, etc, you're going to get one?

I'm really interested in your reason(s).... Care to share?

Name another car I can drive for 3 months and sell in a couple days when I get bored with it -- and not lose much if any money in doing so.

A beater? Anything from 1995 and older will sell for exactly what you paid for it.

Still, good point, though I do wonder if you'll be able to sell it "in a few days". Seems like there is a small following of the NSX, but I'm not too sure how easy it is to sell the car (unless you buy under value and sell the same way)... Be sure to post pictures.

Actually, speaking of pictures, I find the NSX to be probably one of the least photogenic sports cars (stock), ever. Kind of sad, really - they look a lot better in person, in my opinion.

There's no other explination. He practically gave that thing away so I'm opting for there's something amiss.

Ferrari F430 or Ford GT (buy at MSRP) make money on the deal

Won't work with the Ford GT anymore. Their prices are dropping quickly back down to reality and will be under MSRP soon.
