If I had to pick one to Daily, I would go Prelude. It rides great, has good torque, and still handles good enough to be fun. If I was going to track I would go with a GSR. If I was going to swap and want a fast straight line car I would go Civic with K and turbo.
Keep in mind I own a used car dealership and always drive my inventory so I have spent plenty of time in all three cars. I even built a Turbo LS Teggy and a H22 Civic.

hey to all Prelude owners, what real world MPG you guys (or gals) you get?
My integra I got 28-32
My miata I only get about 28-29 probably from wind drag
My s2000 i got 26-28... i figured fair for the power and gearing

With used car prices coming down, I'm seeing base RSX's that could be thrown into the mix. Nothing like Climate Control

Can't believe a 5gen prelude weighs more than an S2000.

I'd go integ, but good luck trying to find a clean one for a reasonable price. The lude is nice but it is on the heavier side although I like the overall styling of it better to the integ.
The EM1 is a good lil car, my neighbor apparently loves his red one, and I like the overall shape of the car more, but imo b18>b16.
I dunno, none of these cars get me goign anymore, the ones worth owning cost too much, the ones u can get for reasonable will probably come with a host of problems. If I was set on a honda fwd, I'd go DC5.

The B16 has the gearing of the ITR tranny 4.4 gears. Compared to the GSR's 4.1
It's just missing the LSD.
I just asked because 10 years later... we have only one car offered by honda and its the Civic SI in coupe or Sedan form.
Now there is the Mini, the WRX, the MS3 to name a few worthy competitors and now the SI is on the low end.
Back in the day these cars were winning comparisons with cars like a BMW 325, Golfs, Eclipses, Celicas.
I'm so surprised Honda doesn't use that K23 turbo even not in AWD form on the civic's.

Yeah I thought about that when I had my GSR, but supply on those are thin.
I keep finding people wanting to sell theses cars with about 130-180k miles on them just mainly highway from older folks around the surrounding cities. They want 5-8k for these cars and I had a poll on here a few weeks ago if giving up the miata would be worth it for these and everybody said no. On paper it sounds all great having more power with the same MPG #'s and having a tin roof over my head to quiet things down on the highway, but everytime I turn a corner in the miata even at parking lot speeds I keep thinking of the heavy and huge turning radius of the Integra. I thought my integra was "heavy" feeling although it did give back lots of feedback from the road. I would have almost preferred a higher boosted steering to be honest. I keep looking back at the miata and just say man its cheaper to insure, I don't have to worry about ricers and thieves yet I'm having twice as much fun in this.
I will eventually go back to an S2000, maybe after I get a new girl haha

I had a 98 Prelude - Milano Red. Bought it new and the ladies loved it. All my buddies had Civics and Integras but my Lude stood out. It was just a beautiful car...esp when just waxed.
Back then it almost had a exotic look compared to the other cars of the day.
Yeah, it was a bit heavy. I really liked the interior room of the front seats. Took many road trips with no complaints from passengers unlike my 2 S2Ks
Put it this way...when I think "rice" I don't think Prelude.
