Yeah, no matter how wealthy I boecome I would never get my kid something like this. 16-18 year old kids have no concept of mortality. They think they are know it all invincible. To me MOST parents that get young kids cars like these are just irresponsible. Kids have never done anything remotely productive in their lives to deserve an automobile like this.

When I was 17, I thought for sure I was getting a Mustang, or Camaro for my birthday. My parents, instead got me a 10 yr. old Celica. I was pissed at the time, but now I know the lesson they were trying to teach me. And 1 that I will pass on to my children.

My brother is a CHP officer down in the OC. Sees this stuff all the time.

At least he didn't fly it into a tree and kill everyone like that other teenage kid that drove his dad's M5 off a runway into a tree.

Much better than the kids in my home town who saddly proved that you can cut a BMW in half with a telephone pole.

this reminds me .. my gf's parents bought her little brother an rsx brand new off the lot in 2006.

The car is all jacked up now. Egg was left on the paint on the right side and of course it scarred the car. Scratches everywhere, broken windshield, balded tires, worn out rotors, engine dying, 90k miles etc. etc.

Basically I probalby would not GIVE my kids a brand new car because they will not understand the pride and joy of earning something.

Hmm, read through some of the responses... no one berated him for this?

the driver didn't post this. Was the guy riding shotgun who posted it.

I can't believe no one was hurt seriously.
