Back seat means what? It's stripped? The back seat in a GTR is pretty sad.
and R-comps? As some have already said... plenty of people drive their cars on the street with R-comps (me, anyone with an Exige, etc).

The only thing I can compare close to directly here is the Z06 ran a 1.34.4 and the viper set the production car record at 1.33.9. Since they are both on the same tires it's a good comparison. The z06 is flying...

The 1M is in the race b.c it's in the same league as the boss 302, evora s, and cayman r. Honestly I'm not too crazy about the boss since it's a stripped track car with r comps on it. Put r comps on the cayman r or 1m and ull get a much better 1/4 mile and road course time.

Did you sit in the laguna seca? it has literally no back seat and has r comps on it. Sorry but any car that has r comps on it is not a realistic car to drive on the street IMHO.

The 1M & cayman r would be much faster with r comps both in a 1/4 mile and track. Add a cheap tune to the 1M and you will def kill the boss.

No it wasn't a Laguna Seca. However, I'm not sure that 30 or so lbs of rear seat would make that much difference in performance in a drag race, especially since the weight is over the rear tires. The tires are rated as being sticky, or at least they are rated as not lasting very long. Once again though, based on other posts here, it was not the only vehicle with what would be considered as borderline street tires. I guess I'll have to see the 1M with a cheap tune take out a Boss. It obviously wasn't close to being the quickest car here, but seems to perform pretty well given the level of investment.

 

How dare the Mustang not have a rear seat. I think all the cars without a rear seat should be disqualified.

 

As expected, the '12 GT-R is a beast! But the LFA sounds incredible - best-sounding car in there.

 

Where was the veyron?

 

I knew as soon as they went down the line of cars, that it would be a "Flying-V" down the runway or at least close. Pretty easy to predict that outcome
