Default 10th generation Civic Type-R spotted testing at the Nurburgring

Looks like we're getting our first glimpses of what the 10th generation Civic Type-R will look like, the first CTR that will be coming to the U.S. What do you guys think? I thought the 2016 Civic sedan that was unveiled last month looked good for a base model Civic, although I was worried how they would give it the Type-R treatment and if it would look aggressive enough. Looking at the lines of the car through the camo and paying attention to the additional Type-R bits on the car, I have to say I'm very pleased and anxious to see what it looks like without the camo. The 3 piped exhaust is pretty cool too. I am hoping that Honda squeezes a little more out of the K20C1 in this car to better compete with the Focus RS, but most likely the aftermarket will have to take care of that.

Here are some shots, more can be found here: http://www.civicx.com/threads/first-...prototype.350/

The front reminds me of the previous generation WRX, especially with the lower side bumper vents. Overall the shape reminds me of the STI sedan. Neither excited or disappointed by what's shown in those photos, other than the gimmick exhaust pipes.

I agree, it looks like the lastgen WRX mated with a Scion TC.

Really like the lines and design of the Newest Euro Type-R, with the hidden door handle on the C-pillar. Should've kept that

Not sure why we don't just get the same one as Europe (hatchbacks don't sell as well in the states I guess). Whatever the case, this version looks fairly sharp. Not a fan of the proportions (seems like all cars are getting bigger), but I like it otherwise.

I'll reserve judgement for later but the front end does reminds me of a Scion tC. I think the exhaust would look better if all three tips were the same size.

To me it looks like the offspring of a Panamera and a WRX sti. In other words, butt ugly.

I'll reserve judgement for NOW.

Will be a theft magnet.... Wouldn't waste my $$$ on it...

Seats will get stolen, shift knob, wheels, brakes, lip kit, wing.

And once they figure how to swap the engine, the whole car will get jacked

Unless that is a F40 in camo they need to change the exhaust.
