8 years is a long time, a lot can change over nearly a decade.
Do you never need to haul much? Bicycles, music equipment, Home Depot runs, etc.

All I need my car to carry around are women, tennis gear, groceries and legal documents.
Plus my Boxster has even more space than my previous 2 seater rides thanks to the huge front trunk.
I've always told myself the only reason why I'd get a car with backseats would be if I had kids. And if that ever happens I'd get a 4 door M3.

I would get an M6.. In Korea I can pick one up for about 60-70 grand new. (I dont have to pay taxes and exchange rate is awesome) or an M3 (45 grand new). I dont like the M5 for some reason...

CaymanS (If I had kid I would resort to 997S for its backseat)
If I need to haul anything, I'll just get a rental car/van or hit up one of my SUV friends - they are both cheap.

I've thought about this over and over(yeah, like it's really gonna happen, heh),
and I'd probably go with the M5.
IF the ZR1 can be had under $100k, I'll take it in Jetstream Blue.
I DD my C6, so no problem there.
But like Quikag said, I'll be almost 40 in 8 years and I think the M5 would be a smarter choice overall.

I would probably go with an M3 sedan with the manual transmission. I would go crazy if I didn't have a manual for eight years. If someone was buying me the car, I could handle paying maintenance on it no problem. Just put $300/month in the bank and that would be about $30,000 over the eight years. That should be enough to handle any problems and is the equivalent of the car payment of a MUCH lesser car.

^ You drive a lot! How'd you get that much mileage on so many cars of a similar vintage???
