$100k, one car, only car for 8 years

S2000 CR with radio and AC.
I've survived for over nine years with just a two-seater. I can survive another ten just fine I'm sure. It's a lot of fun to drive daily and fun to take canyon carving. No changes needed to reliably autocross. Assuming a pad compound change doesn't violate the "no mods" rule, it can be reliably tracked too.
Something like a 911 S or Cayman S would be nice, but I'm not sure I'd care for the maintenance costs. Exige S is a nice car, but too delicate and way too expensive to fix if anything happens. I'd have to drive an IS-F before I could make any decision on one. I have no interest in paying the tire and maintenance costs of a GTR.
I really can't think of anything else under $100k that holds much interest for me.

Has to stay stock? Boring! I'll take the bus and blow the $100k on strippers.
Quick question: by stock are you referring to options after the dealership? You can get just about anything through most dealers added on now...Loophole?

- back seat (for emergencies and groceries)
- good gas mileage (for the type of car it is at least)
- great sports car (although starting the march towards being a great and really really sporty GT)
- not so "exotic" as to have to deal with million dollar oil changes and spotty dealer locations BUT still have the panache of having a special car.
- now that the RMS problems appear to be fixed, "appears" to be fairly reliable as well
(of course who knows with the new DI 3.8 and PDK)
- interior is nice enough (although I'd hardly say its amazing for the price at least)
- option of PDK (don't know if i'd actually get it though)
Having to choose 1 car and 1 car only is about making compromises and to me, the 911 appears to be the best one, despite not being the best at any of the issues I listed above.

Why?
I don't have kids, why the heck would I need backseats?
I've daily driven a 2 seater sports car for the last 4 years without any problem.

Do you never need to haul much? Bicycles, music equipment, Home Depot runs, etc.

2009 BMW M3 sedan. Fast, comfortable, powerful, and should be fun to drive. I have kids so it works better than my other choice, a 2009 997S with PDK.
