Has a new XJR been announced? Or are you talking about the XFR? The XFR is gorgeous. IMHO, it's the most beautiful sedan behind only the Aston Martin Rapide.

Since we'll probably start having kids in this time frame, I'd test the new Jags, Audi S5 & S6, 335i convertible, and the most loaded 5/6 series cars I could get. At least to try something with a bit of practical appeal. Then I'd test the Porsches I could get, a Z06, and I'd probably settle on a GT-R.
In reality, I'll probably eventually supercharge the S and after that dies, get a practical Accord-type DD to put miles on and an Exige, 7 clone, or other aggressive car for the weekends. And I might end up never driving the Accord.

Some of you guys should go into detail about your choice. I mean, would driving a CLK63 AMG Black Series or a Nissan GT-R be a wise decision if you live in a neighborhood where people have already slashed your S2000's top?

I only didn't name that by being technical and assuming I could have a truck on the side...but if you can only have 1 4 wheel vehicle (car or truck), that's prob. the best choice yet.
All these people thinking they could live w/ nothing but a 2 seat sportscar, GT-R, etc. are living in fantasyland.

I don't have kids, why the heck would I need backseats?
I've daily driven a 2 seater sports car for the last 4 years without any problem.

All the responses saying clk bs-- you know it's a 2-seater, right? I love that car as much as anyone, but even to me 2-seat impracticality, 4000lbs and "only" M3-ish performance is kind of ridiculous. At least vs an 09 c4s or gt-r.

All German cars wouldn't fit the bill becuase of the reliablity issues. Yes, I know what I'm taking about since I've owned an Audi, BMW, and Mercedes when most of you guys just read about them in magazines. My pick would be a Lexus LS460L. Some may say it's boring to drive, and you are right. The joy of ownership would make up for any of the car's few short comings. Good thing is it's a fairly new model so you won't see a new one for a while.

P.S. I put about 25k miles a year on my cars so you know where my priorites are.
