[QUOTEAll German cars wouldn't fit the bill becuase of the reliablity issues.[/QUOTE]
My 03 M3 is closing in on 100K miles and is 7 years old...no issues to speak of. I guess you are more important than everyone else as it seems your personal experience trumps all? I have had great luck with my BMW's and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Well, not to keep it OT, but I do love german cars. That said, all 3 of the BMW's I bought had serious problems.
M Roadster: Rear "subframe" rip out of rear axle.
02 M3. Recall for engine.
02 Z8: Aluminum strut tower spread.
As much as I love the engineering they bring, I just couldn't do that to myself again.
Buy the Porsche.

All these people thinking they could live w/ nothing but a 2 seat sportscar, GT-R, etc. are living in fantasyland.

I only didn't name that by being technical and assuming I could have a truck on the side...but if you can only have 1 4 wheel vehicle (car or truck), that's prob. the best choice yet.

I'd most likely go for a car with more than two seats. Since I work at a store that people know my family owns, I wouldn't want to drive there everyday in a very expensive car, especially since some people already get jealous of me owning an S2000. Hmm... This would be a very difficult choice.
I'd love to own an '08 BMW M6, especially since there are still some brand new ones at dealerships that are selling for less than $90K. I've seen one in Norwalk, CA, on sale for $84,995. BUT! It'd be too flashy to own a vehicle, such as the M6, and work at a family owned business. People would be offended...
In fact, owning any BMW M-series car would be too flashy. Mercedes-Benz AMGs? Forget about them, too. Any Audi, even the lower A4, would draw negative attention by many customers. They'd assume I'm flashing my money.
If luxury would still be on my mind even after knowing that I'd lose customers from owning a very expensive vehicle, I'd want a Cadillac Escalade, but I wouldn't want to live with mid- to low-'teen gas mileage.
Maybe I'm over thinking this, seeing as none of my uncles will ever offer me $100K to spend on a new car, but it's still a fun "what-if" scenario to think about.
With all that being said, I'd most likely spend the cash on a new Toyota Tacoma X-Runner Access Cab with a manual transmission.. I'd need the hauling bed to bring merchandise to the stores every now and then. Plus, the V6 is pretty decent as far as straight line performance goes in a sub-$30K truck. Gas mileage isn't spectacular but it'd be something I could live with in a pick-up truck. Also, reliability is always attractive in any car, and we're talking about a Toyota here.

Some of you guys should go into detail about your choice. I mean, would driving a CLK63 AMG Black Series or a Nissan GT-R be a wise decision if you live in a neighborhood where people have already slashed your S2000's top?

Nothing European due to reliability and headaches which is just my opinion.
That being said I would go with a White GT-R, back seat for emergency is available, AWD for bad weather, sick performance. Japanese reliability (hopefully).
