I would only buy brand new cars and I would have to test drive the following to make my decision.
Porsche GT3
Viper ACR
Vette Z06
Vette ZR1
Nissan GTR
All in all, I can't imagine ever owning any of those car's and not modding them so it's a hard decision. Without being permitted the ability to mod, I'd probably go with the GT3, ACR, or ZR1, again a test drive would be needed to make an accurate decision.

Do you seriously think you can get a new GT3 or ZR1 for $100K or less? Even moreso, it's quite possible that you may not have the opportunity to test drive these cars before buying.
When demand greatly exceeds supply and it's an expensive car, dealers don't want miles accumulating or the risk of abuse. Buy it, and you can throw it on EBay if it doesn't meet expectations.

not to mention who wants to dish out $100k+ for a ZR1 with 130miles on it?
any car on "collector status" isn't going to be prone to be under MSRP, nor will u get a drive around town prior to buying.
i'll just take your post as meaning u'd look for a slightly prior driven "used" ZR1 / GT3

997C2S. If I can DD an S2000, I can certainly DD a 911. And maintenance on a 911 is sure to be less than the $400/mo I spend on S2000 car payments now, so I'm even ahead a little
Only question is PDK or no....

And knowing my track record of having my current car for 9 years and loving it, I could only imagine my love for an NSXR. Sigh... one day...

I started out driving an NSX at age 17, and have been driving an NSX ever since...
As for which car, I'd have to say some type of reliable small SUV (family man) with power, agility and reliability, but does such a car exist? Closest competitors would be, BMW X3?, Audi Q5?, Nissan Pathfinder?, Porsche Cayenne Turbo/S? ... how long do I have to decide...
Screw it, sports car ... 2005 NSX with the 6 speed and thus 3.2 liter
