If you'll allow me to have a track-only car, too, then I'd go w/ an Infiniti QX56, fully loaded. It'll allow me to tow the track car or a boat, and haul a family if I someday have one, etc.

If I can't have a race car, then I'd probably just get a Lexus LS460AWD.

And I still say Grand Marquis. Cheap to insure, cheap to service, and it will go 200,000 to 500,000 miles with regular service.

It will not beat you to tears on trips over 500 miles. It will haul 4 people comfortably. Has trunk space for three or four dead bodies - without dismembering them.

+1

And knowing my track record of having my current car for 9 years and loving it, I could only imagine my love for an NSXR. Sigh... one day...

LOL!! Yes, I drive a LOT!! We take several road trips, have family to visit in Canada several times per year (usually 1,500 - 2,000 miles each trip), I have between 50 - 60 miles per day of commutes for work, and then drive to stay sane. So yes, I have been known to put some miles on my cars. I just put another 1,000 miles on one of them this past weekend alone.
i bet just your insurance payment is more than most people's car payments!!

how come the GSR is in storage? you believe it'll be worth something someday?
