Probably their actual street numbers will be virtually the same, but even so the C63 will probably still give you more of that rumbling mashing feeling talked about above.
But my point was that a lot of their buyers won't care about actual numbers or handling feel etc.

I still disagree with you. I still think its going to boil down to feel. When your dropping this much coin on a performance car its gonna come down to how u feel behind the wheel. Otherwise, why not just get the 335i or C350? I understand that looks is a BIG part of the equation but the whole point of these machines are stealth.
Another thing, I think these cars appeal to different people. It would irritate the piss out of me to only have paddle shifters and not a clutch. I've been around the Benz and BMW crowd for quite some time. Its going to take more than looks to win their customers over. Its the pedigree thats at play too. The M3 nameplate does weigh more than C and its going to take more than overthetop looks to overcome that. Its going to take time.

There is also the other factor....underdog. Personally, I'm a fan of the c63 because it is clearly the underdog alternative to the M3. If I rock an M3, I'll be one of many people at work with the same car. If I roll in the c63, it's a totally different story.

Wow the C63 is just silly fast. Absolutely sick. 3.9 to 60..insanity. 12.3 in the 1/4 at 116 mph? CRAZY!
I think its hilarious that this rag complains of the aggressive nature of the AMG, when they cursed the previous generation M3 for its civility. Most rags love BMWs no matter what. I say the C63 is the new measuring stick in this class. The raw numbers say so.
