07 Tundra only has 5 lugnuts.?

Each nut/bolt can handle the 5500 lbs truck weight by itself, so you'll be OK with 20 of them. Really, only 3 per wheel are necessary on most vehicles, but I imagine there would be a problem if 1 of 3 fell off.

The added lug nuts provides for a more direct application of the engine power, especially in towing. It is definitely a function feature, not just for looks.

LOL direct application of...what are you talking about? Not a factor at all. If anything less unsprung weight makes it better to have less.

Toyota went to a bigger diameter lug nut, 5 should be fine

All MB's, even AMG's with the biturbo engine (+600hp and 1000nm of torque) have just 5... And many of the MB's are very heavy as well...

So far, seems to have worked fine.

You cannot compare vehicle loads between a MB AMG car to a truck of 5,000 pounds that has 10,000 pounds of trailer attached to it...

Agreed.

Bottom line, I'm sure Toyota has done their homework, they have not gotten to be the largest car company in the world by accident.
