07 r1 16 tooth front sprocket.
I want to change my front sprocket to 16 teeth (pre-04 has 16t front sprocket). I called the local yamaha dealer and they said yamaha don't make them so i have to go aftermarket. They can order my some from vortex. Are they any good? Any recogmendation?

I mainly want the bike to be more responsive down low, nothing much. The bike seems to lag under 4k rpm.
While youre at it, convert your chain pitch to 520 to reduce rotating mass.
This mod is just like changing your final drive, so a speedo healer is reccommended.

The most popular size is -1/+2. So if your OEM gearing is 16 teeth on the front sprocket, you go with 15 teeth and if the rear sprocket is 48, you will go with a 50.
