There were some quality control issues on the '04 1st model year and the Titan brakes is a well documented problem, just like the major upgrade that was designed which solved the problem. I have an '05 and it is just great! And seriously, Consumer Reports does not have a great reputation when it comes to their car/truck/suv reviews, they are very biased. And for the record, the great Honda S2000 had problems in its 1st model year too...
