Thanks for all your helpful feedback. I went with the EVO Special Edition. I am totally happy with it. I cant drive it hard till I can break it in a little. Btu I must say one thing that can NEVER be replaced in any car is the gearbox on the S. Shifting on the feels so nice compared to any other car.

Anyhow, the EVO is an insane car and happy I got it.
it is matters.... i ran my evo well past the redline at 200 miles and never had an issue in the 24k miles that I had it. I took it drag racing at 500 miles and got 13.4 and i even lifted between shifts (hindsight i probably wouldn't have)....

anyway... "break in" is bullshit in my mind.... post pics.

Congrats on the new EVO! My buddy is really into them and I told him abotu South Coast's deals for the 06 EVO's. Who was your salesman? Would you recommend him?

If you do, I'll pass on the info to my friend and FORCE him to get off his lazy ass and get his EVO!

Evo= always fun
S2k=fun on sunny, dry days, when you don't have more than 1 passenger, no kids and you don't have to transport anything ever.

Fun is also subjective, so stating it as a fact makes no sense.

Very true! I happen to love fishing and think its very fun! And then there's people who think fishing is the most boring thing in the world....
