Oh great, the Civic has an "Engine Start" button...

The instrument panel and gauges look pretty damn cool.

I saw it on that UK website.

EDIT: I'm droolin' now. When are we getting the hatch??????

The North American Civic wont look like the UK model (interior and exterior). We are not getting a hatchback. Just sedan and coupe.

[QUOTE=ElTianti,Aug 20 2005, 12:27 PM] It's a damn shame we're not getting the Hatch.

My sister in Scotland got her Peugot 206 in an accident, then the insurance company gave her a black 2005 Civic type R as a replacement when it was in the shop!

She loved it!

It's a damn shame we're not getting the Hatch. Small coupes and sedans have useless trunks.

Fortunately for me, I have a '05 Si
If you can wait til 2007, the CRX Si comes out then (supposedly).

How do you like the '05 SI ???
I have been considering getting an '05 ... problem is the car feels so damn slow wish Honda sold the Type R.

I really like the car. But since I have an S2000 straight-line performance wasn't my highest priority in choosing a daily driver.

You're right the car is not super quick, there are definitely faster choices. But I wanted a car with some utility, got good MPG, didn't require premium fuel in a package that offered decent performance and good handling. Despite the all season tires, it turns in nicely and doesn't understeer until you press pretty hard. The shifter and seats are fantastic and the pedals are perfectly arranged for heel-toe work.

Complaints? It could really do with a LSD, the radio is a bit of reach and back seat access is lacking.

The 06 civic looks like an improvement, but I'm not making any decisions until I see the CRX.
