Dude I am really sorry to busrt your bubble. Maybe you live in a rich part of Cali where its considered cool to pay alot for your car.

Where I live, there a many Z06s to be found. I picked mine up which has 4k miles for around $45k and thats w/o looking for a better price. It was available locally so I took it. Here you go if you still don't believe me:

The fact that you are actually trying to make fun of me when you are not even close to right makes me wonder if you got problems more than it makes me mad. Oh well, I've said all I need to. Others will chime in soon.

Actually after some thinking, maybe its not your fault.

Maybe your friend is trying to make you look like a moron and he is doing a pretty good job.

heh, well california is a bit different than texas... around here you cant find one for anything close to sticker, apples and oranges...

And I wasn't trying to make fun of you, I thought you were one of those guys that replies to every post, claiming personal experience when they really dont know sh*t about sh*t. I did not know you own a vette, nor did I look at your sig and see that you are in tx...

believe me we looked, I was looking to get one for a while as well... the problem is that you just cant find them around here. Very few dealers have even one on the lot, and they wont sell those anywhere close to sticker. And no out of state dealers wanted to do a dealer transfer when they could sell them in state just as easily. Part of the price difference could also have something to do with the extra charges we pay when buying cars in california... I swear, we get charged just to live here.

Dude fly to Georgia. Get it for $50k. Drive that sucker back. I bet you could probably get the stuff done to make it pass California laws or whatnot.

besides... he already bought his, and Im thinking of keeping my s2k, I love the power of the z06, but the new turbo kits that have been coming out for the S recently look pretty promising.
