[JGTC] Why are Z's winning?

As I understand it, the 350Z feathering "problem" was simply due to toe-out on the front tires, and owners who didn't understand the effect it would have on tire wear. Hardly something that would impact race performance, or be suddenly discovered after several races ("Holy cow -- our car wears out front tires quickly when they're toed out, just like every other car in existence! Stop the presses!").
Steve
- runs his front tires toed out
- sees high front tire wear accordingly

if you're implying the Z is a great car bc it's #1 i think that conclusion might be not accurate - or at least you're making too big of a connection. at this level of racing it's about $$$, driver, etc. the cars are no longer regular cars you buy. pretty much everything has been changed. tell me where can i get a 2300lbs Z with 460hp?

The Z's are twin turbo as well. The 1st place Xanavi Z has two of the top 6 drivers from last year. Motoyama finished 1st last year in the GT-R and Lyons came in 3rd in a GT-R.
At Sugo they finished out of the points, so they're second overall now. That usually happens with the weight penalties.
My money is on the #6 Supra at the end of it all.
