MSRP on the 997 S is 101k...

There were a couple 996 TT's / one Arctic Silver GT3 / the 997 S in black was the most appealing, aesthetic wise

The 997's are in fact out already, but the 996 is at least for now carried over with the Turbo.

The value (which is somewhat tongue in cheek when discussing 130+ thousand dollar cars) of the new S is great when you consider a similarly optioned car was 12+ grand more last year.

I just wish they had not thrown in the PCCB brakes.
Wow, $12K savings on options you don't want. Sounds like a great deal

I don't see the value for $130K given that the Ford GT costs $150K (if you can get it for MSRP).

True, but where is the back seat in the Ford GT?

I should have snapped a picture of my new kitchen sink in the back of the Turbo yesterday.

If I could afford a Ford GT, I think I could also afford a Hyundai to haul the kitchen sink. $130K for a 996 Turbo S is overpriced, in my opinion.
