chill on ripping on nissan guys. S2000's, until like 5 months ago were (hell they may still be) still showing stickers that say $10k market adjustment on them in Portland Oregon. I mean no one is their right mind pays this much, but when I bought my S2k last may I paid MSRP. The day before, 5 were bought at somewhere from $5k to $10k over sticker. The Z is new. This same thing happened when the S2000 was new.

Markup's exist because the market has more demand then supply.
I think after 4-5 months of release the 350z will come down in price.
Just like the new Accord V6 manual, Honda Pilot, and the 350z.
Look at the WRX, when it first came to shore here they were getting msrp and even over
for them.
Now probably 500 over invoice, depending on the area.
Yeah M3's are still in short supply so they probably still carry msrp or a tab over. (SMG's)

Elistan: Its new 02' Sebring Silver w/black., Msrp 32,860.00 and this is the first time I did not mind paying sticker. Rust Wallis Honda was the selling dealer. It was a great experience. Everyone their was helpful and friendly. They had a black and one other silver on the floor. Since I've sworn of black cars after my C5 vert it did not leave me with much choice in color.
I traded a Tl Type S for the Honda. I couldn

FNSTypes:
We'll be at the Ranch both Saturday and Sunday, from 7:00am to about 4:00pm.
s2kpdx01:
We're not ripping Nissan, we're ripping the dealers charging several thousands dollars over MSRP. Just like we enjoy ripping Honda dealers who do the same thing.

This article indicates 33,000 unites per year. http://wdb.wardsauto.com/ar/auto_nissan_tr...ies_discourage/
This one says 44,000. http://in.news.yahoo.com/020731/8/1t0fb.html
Another for 42,000 global, or 30,000 in the US. http://detnews.com/2002/autosinsider/0207/...utos-549601.htm
In any case, the production numbers, IMO, suggest that such markups will be shortlived. We'll see - there are enough greedy bastards out there...

$42,000 is a GRIP.
This car isn't that great. From what I've read in reviews the best part of this car it the VALUE you get from the low price. So much for that!
BTW, I thought MSRP was $27k-ish??
