Default Zaino Detailers

Ok. I'm lazy. I also live in an apt where I have no place to wash my car. And it's dirty. Water droplet marks, brake dust, etc. Ick. I've put over 1000 miles on it in 2 weeks!

So I emailed the LA Zaino people and asked for recommendations on detailers who use their products. Anyone know either of these guys and can recommend them, before they touch my precious S?

Detail Center - Danny Saner - 310-479-4789
Alpha Auto Detailing - Dennis Sourvanos - 310-940-4869

I need my car washed before Saturday's AutoX, so I guess I'll have to take it to a local handwash first. <sob>

Thanks!
Samira

Isn't it better to do it afterwards, along with your oil change, diffy change, and tranny change?

Normally, yes...but I wanted something to protect the car from the evil cone marks! I'm doing an AutoX school all day Sat and you tend to hit alot more cones at schools than at practices or championships, since your instructor is pushing you to find your limits. That's my story, anyhow...hehe.

It's gonna have to be washed next week anyway...as all the cars get FILTHY out at the speedway. And I'm up to almost 2200 miles...gonna have go see Matt P for an oil change pretty soon!

You've got PM.

I'd wash, skip the wax, and pick up a bra for your AutoX days...

Overbooster, which I had seen your car at Vash's! That sounds really nice, any pics in the gallery?

Thanks for the PM, Flitcroft... hmmm...a bra? Ick, reminds me of IROC Camaros of the 80s. Hehe. I'm thinking of putting blue painter's tape on the front for the next race for now...

Thanks for the ideas, guys!

Exclamation

Well... You can go my route but let me tell you I wished I had a Colgan bra after spending an hour and a half putting this on with Jennifer and another hour and a half (total) removing the tape at the track and the residue with detail spray when I got home. It's hardly an ideal plan if you're planning to keep with AutoX.

Here's more info on Colgan bras (link). I'm not suggesting you cruise around with it on like an IROQ owner, but just that you detail spray and wipe down your car's front at the AutoX course and slap on the bra. I wouldn't be caught dead driving home with one of those, even with a black car
