Car cover FTW.
I use the California duster each day, keep it covered at work, and in the
garage at night. But the wheels are disgustingly dirty. Detail this
week-end! (Hopefully ash fall subsides soon...)

I excavated in Glendale this morning looking for underground storage tanks. When I excavate, I kick up an enormous amount of dust. On my way back to work, I stopped at home and hosed my car off.

Just took a bottle of a good quick detail spray, and a soft microfiber towel and wiped down the whole car. Then I just cleaned the windows and mirrors. Probably will wash next week. I couldn't leave my car dirty. Must let the beautiful NFR color shine (too bad my wheels are still dirty...haha).

My soft top is a nice chocolate brown color right now. Hopefully this weekend it will get a wash so that more ash can stick to it before I can dry it.
