How does the lap timing work? Do any of your laps from any session count? ..except if the best lap that you use is from session 4, you get an additional point?
..or is there a specific part of the day when the laps count towards the XS-2000 challenge?

The raffle is generally 3-5 free track days for a later date, plus whatever trinkets Extremespeed stumbles upon from dealings with sponsors associated with the various competitions / redline time attack, like swift springs who sponsor ETA, T-shirts. It's relatively easy to win one cause lots of ppl leave before raffle numbers are called.
Lap timing uses transponders similar in size and functions as AMB. They're called Westholm I think...with the main difference being these are cheaper and bulkier. So while many organizations run out of AMB's or charge you $400 for breaking one, XS always has sufficient transponders for pre-registered drivers. Times from any regular session 1-4 count. Sessions in the Extreme dedicated time attack, and session 5 do not count because awards are handed out around 4pm. And yes, a lap used from session 4 gets you a bonus point.
