XM Everything for $77/year. 3rd year straight for me. just renewed... about a month ago.

I guess the half off is .. $6.50/month, vs $6.42/month for $77/year. Then again, they've never attempted to raise my rate so.. *shrug*

XM Lifetime subscription is available, top of the line package costs $499 currently.

You can upgrade your Sirius Lifetime subscription to include Best of XM which will give you all the stations for $100.

this trick works for lots of things - I've gotten extra miles for my credit card (United) and no fee, dropped fees on random services. In fact, I've been getting $10 off my AT&T bills per month for the last 18 months. It was supposed to be for 12 months, but they extended it another 6 - it's due this May, so I have to call in again...

It's interesting to see what places will give you discounts. I've asked in department stores and they often say yes... Macy's, Nordstroms, etc.
Just goes to show you that there is an up-side to a sh**ty economy..........

They wanted to raise my 1st radio 2.00 and my second radio 1.00.

I told them, "I always wanted to cancel XM b/c Lack of use, but now you really made it easy for me".

Customer Support gets Manager...... 1 min wait..

Manager:

Gives me 1/2 price on my 1st radio, 1/2 price on my second radio.

Easy as 1-2-3.

Cliffnotes: Call in and threaten to cancel.
Of course, thanks to you, they now have to lay off two more people, and Bert's panties will get in a bunch.............
