I just picked up my 360 last Saturday, 11/26/05. It's good to know people - buddy of mine saved one for me when they got their second shipment (shhh) I must say, this thing is absolutely amazing.

For those of you who are desperate to get one before Feb. when they will be readily available on the shelves and don't want to pay $800-900 on eBay, you can pick one up on auctionmills.com for $575, the premium unit. I found this link on another inventory site last week. They don't ship until Dec. 18th though....

Now that a few months have passed, I'm considering buying an XBox 360.

Does anyone have any advice on which So Cal retailers might offer them? Have you seen the premium console (w/ hard drive & wireless controller) in a store somewhere? I was hoping to buy online, but the online retailers are only offering bundles with games I'm not interested in.

Thank for your suggestions!
