Default WTB: spoon springs

does anyone know where i can get a set of the spoon springs? i know that a couple of sponsors have them, but they sell them for about $400, and i've read post where people have gotten them in the $300 range...i believe the springs give about a 25mm drop

if any other sponsors can get them or board members, please PM me and let me know the price

thanx

Kev, just to let you know, the spoon springs give you the ass heavy look. Unless thats what you are looking for. Also, when I was looking at them a while back, $400 +/- was the asking price. good luck.

thanks for the input stu, it seems like all the springs that give a 1" drop make the car look ass heavy....

i like the way your car sits with the kgmm race, but i wanted somethin' a lil' higher, which would be either spoon or eibach, but everyone complains about the back being lower than the front

also, the spring rates for the spoons are A LOT closer to the stock spring rates, plus the spoon springs come with the dual rate like the kgmm. would anyone happen to have a picture of a s2k with the spoon springs, i've looked all over this site and can't find a picture...

are there any other springs out there that give about a 1" drop, i plan on matching them with the koni yellows?

yeah, i checked their website...and i think they're the ones that sell them for $400...i found another online site [not a sponsor] that says they have them instock for $345 plsu shipping

...but now kekoa is making me think that i should go with the kgmm's instead. unless i can actually see a picture of a s2k with the spoon springs

hey kln, there is someone on this board named PSI that had the spoon springs on his S2. I recently found out that he sold his car but, I am for sure that he has a few photographs of his car with the spoon springs.
