Hey Paul!

If you are looking for a changer, check out the SSI America's NeoChanger-MP3. It hooks up to the OEM deck like the OEM changer with one single cable, but it gives you 10 disks and plays MP3's too. Yep, it plays MP3's through the OEM head unit. You control it with the head unit and existing dash controls, no modifications whatsoever. I sold mine to Drewchie about 6 months ago...

With the OEM changer you ALSO need to buy an install kit (or at least the cable) seperately. I'd advise against cutting the carpet to install the OEM CD cage.

Side note - both the OEM CD Changer and the NeoChanger will fit into that empty space in the foam tool tray in the trunk, giving a secure, padded, stealthy install.

Thanks JD... I did a quick search and I have a question: is it only available online? Also, can I use any cd changer (ie a sony one from Best buy)? I ask because my b-day is around the corner and the parents/gf is asking what I want. I basically buy everything on my own and have everything This would make them stop buggin me... Thanks again

Hey Paul!

Damn! It looks like they stopped selling it! Here is my old for-sale post - Drewchie bought it - maybe you can convince him to sell it.

Here are a few ebay auctions - search for NEO CHANGER , make sure it is the MP3 version, as they have a model that looks identical that doesn't play MP3's

Oh, you can use a sony or something, but they won't connect like the original head unit, the might use FM to connect (sounds terrible) and you can't use the dash controls.

IMHO the best option is to replace your HU with an Alpine, get the Alpine-IPOD interface, an IPOD, and DJ-Qubes dash controls.
