wow, this all brings up another question. Since the AEM V2 cold air intakes are illegal here in CA too and carb pending, what is the fine for getting caught with that?

are there diff. types of T1R test pipes? Or just one? Also, where can I buy a T1R test pipe? Anyone got a link? Im gonna sell my Berke and buy the T1R

this one is probably a fix it ticket. THere is a generic law for modifying cars that cops use. The catalytic, though, is a POLLUTION CONTROL DEVICE and falls under a whole 'nother catagory of rules...

If they dont now, they WILL eventually, as every import owner seems to have one now.... Besides, a smart cop will be able to smell it easily. Sniffers are not uncommon either.

I hear fines are about 2500 for intentionally removing a catalytic converter.

V1 TB pipe and V2 Bottom. You can make it fit, minor mods. Carb Legal now

is it still ok I had an exhaust shop make my single exhaust from the cat back? Its a straight exhaust with no resonators, but Im still using my cat. Im still ok right? Its loud, but ok as far as pollution laws go right?
