im not exactly sure which world cup you guys were watching... but...

korea beating greece? that was a no brainer. greece has never scored a goal in their past 12 world cup matches.

did you guys watch argentina play? all my korean friends (im korean too) thought argentina sucked... i laughed. they were in total control of the entire game, they were toying with the nigerians (which i thought was hilarious).

korea vs. nigeria should be a great game, but argentina's gonna stomp all over korea.

and the england/USA game.... O GOD! poor goalkeep what a mistake!! i cant believe they tied
its ok tho, im cheering for both teams so altho england is my favorite... a draw wont confuse my personal standings haha. that keeper is gonna get massacred but we'll see, hopefully he gets a chance to redeem himself.

its very typical in soccer. you control the game but dont capitalize on the chances you get. in other words, very strong defense by the winning team and they capitalize on the few rare chances they get.

the comparison can be made to football where a team racks up 500+ offensive yards but cant punch it into the endzone.

exactly. as in my blind friends thought argentina sucked just by looking at the score of 1-0 to nigeria, when obviously, if you had watched the game, you would've known that argentina was in total domination the whole time.

I understand how one might think that if a team that's good at controlling the ball and moving around the field but unable to score 50 goals might suck, but if someone is in total control, I wouldn't think they suck.

Their strikers might just suck at finishing
