and yes, it woulda make a HUGE difference in the game. starting the second half ENG played up, which is how the germans got their breakaway goals. if lampard's goal counted it woulda been 2-2 and england could play back a lil more and actually defend,
either way, ENG's defense was still shoddy at times so maybe the germans woulda still won. but still, you never know..
alas, this is soccer. just the way the game is.
