Don't know if it would have made much of a difference...but is this not the worst reffing anyone else has seen in a world cup? Should have been 2-2 at half time.

It's almost no fun to watch since they are such big calls that they are missing.
x2. it was pretty disappointing.

and yes, it woulda make a HUGE difference in the game. starting the second half ENG played up, which is how the germans got their breakaway goals. if lampard's goal counted it woulda been 2-2 and england could play back a lil more and actually defend,

either way, ENG's defense was still shoddy at times so maybe the germans woulda still won. but still, you never know..

alas, this is soccer. just the way the game is.

They looked like they scored so easily today. Their team flowed so well together, I haven't seen them play this well in any of the other games so far.

Was the game that good? I haven't really seen any team that seemed like they would be overly dominant (ignoring the Portugal v N. Korea )

Brazil v. Argentina in the Finals? That would be really exciting.

I've been predicting an Argentina/Netherlands final from the start, but after seeing Brazil today I'm having doubts. Brazil vs.Netherlands next round will be as good as any final. Brazil went in to the World Cup with a world raking of #1, Netherlands now have a 23 game winning streak and ranking at #4.

I still think Netherlands has looked stronger than any of the other teams...but I didn't see the game today. I'm sure it will be a great game.

Brasil's goals today were amazing. One touch passes that were absolutely perfect and the way they took on the defenders made it look like Chile had no defense.
