A friend posted this on Facebook, I thought I would share. Andres Cantor, the great Spanish language play-by-play announcer at the end of the US Algeria game calling Donovan's goal.

I can't believe how much Ghana tried to fake injuries just to run the clock. I understand holding onto the ball and trying to keep possession but just laying down on the pitch and waiting for the ref to blow the whistle? Get the **** out of here.

faking fouls tho, thats just poor sportsmanship... but then again, i find it acceptable to walk to get out-of-bound balls, etc etc o well, US lost that game anyway, they played horrible.

As expected as it is, I still find it disrespectful and cowardly. I've screamed at my own team for crap like that.
1st half
2nd half was much better. Possession in the first half was something like 67-33 in Ghana's favor, last I saw of the second half it was nearly 50-50 (for the game, not the half). I honestly thought we could have won it in the second half. If only we had some forwards that could score -_-
Don't get me started on the defense. All throughout the tournament, you'd think they would have learned.

The winning goal by Ghana was super sloppy on our part. How are you gonna let a ball go through to one player from like 50 yards away?
