Did you have a stupid question?

I've been on there for quite some time and get very good answers in general. I get some smartass answers there's FAR more knowledgeable people in terms of mechanical understanding compared to s2ki.com Not even close in comparison. There are guys on there that would dust this community IMO.

Still I like this community much better overall.
And thank you for the nice welcome....

To answer your question, no it was not a stupid question. I was trying to troubleshoot my 2.5 TBI which was dumping fuel. I know my way around cars well enough but the 2.5 TBI, which was made for 2 years, was a bastard of a system to work on because it pre-dated OBD I requirements but still had a computer to screw with.
I am sure there is knowledgeable guys on there, only those guys didn't step up and I was left with a bunch of smartasses.

I think the guy was probably serious but also understood that in writing a response so extreme people would find it funny.

I don't think it's a problem the girl had the question she did but rather that she's SO into the matter she went on a jeep forum to ask about it. It's more involvement than I'd want to see a GF of mine in with my cars. A wife I guess I could understand because its her money too. Still, support the guy or don't be with him! IF he's that dumb you shouldn't be with him. IDK

Yes it's a bastard child that's for sure. Maybe then it was the area you posted in? Or maybe you just had some back luck. In the technical forum you'll usually find good help, most the guys in there jump all over troubleshooting threads generally but on occasion I see some dummy responses too.

Idk what to tell ya man, bad luck. Most importantly did you get the issue solved?

As for that thread about Paul, That's not jeepforum.com that's MjR and they're known for being a bunch of idiots as far as other jeep people are concerned. Not surprised at all.

Gotta love Randizzles "he drives a jeep he is already a tool to me lol " comment.

Thanks pal! I'm gonna run yo ass ova!

Gonna run you over too!

I know you'll be parked in the electric vehicle only parking with your BMW.

Electric Parking (front of stores) > Diesel Parking (with everyone else)

Or... Jeep parking (ontop of someones car at front of store) > Other parking.
