So last week on 01/13/12 was a regular night going down the i-15 leaving victorville. . Inside my car there was a lot of road noise. I was just thinking its the wind that is causing all this noise. Just thinking nothing of it I kept on driving and the noise started getting worse. I couldn't even hear my girlfriend talk thats how bad the noise was. All of sudden I was driving and BOOM.. my top flies I suddenly have a moon roof. I just bought this car 1 month ago and the top was clean no tears on the top.. This is what happened. Now going hardtop picking it up today from rockstar garage... Has anyone else seen this happen? I talk to everyone and they tell me this was never supposed to happen.

I've heard of it happening before. Cant remember where it is but someone posted a video of someone tracking the S in japan and it happened on camera. Cant remember where the video is but im sure you could google or youtube it.

probably cuz the air inside the cabin was so still and the air above the softop was so fast, so it pretty much got sucked out.. slowly making it weak at the seams and glued areas.

Thanks to Rockstar Garage I got a sweet Mugen Top. The fitment was pretty easy. I didn't even know how to put in a hardtop. The guy that sold me the hardtop explained it to me and got some help from wiley_s2k and now I got a hardtop... Went to local window shop installed my weather stripping and also my rear window for 35 bucks. Pretty easy to do yourself, fitment is always an issue cause its not OEM. lol but overall pretty easy. Highly Recommend Rockstar garage Hardtop kit. Everything was pretty easy and He help me when I had questions.
