Default Wind Noise w/ the top up?

I used to have this problem when I had my hardtop. Higher speeds on the freeway (around 80's) tend to produce loud wind noise in the cabin. I'm starting to experience it with my 02' now. Anybody else have these problem? Is it just cause the cars getting old? Can't believe its been over 4 years now.

maybe it sounds louder beacuse your hardtop made the wind noise less, maybe its loud to you or maybe you need some hardtop strikers or maybe its just wear over time =/

I'm not sure that its the window seal since it sounds like the wind is coming through the center. I haven't had the hardtop in a long time and I usually drive top down and even when the top is up, I never lock them w/ the strikers so I can't understand how they have problems.

Maybe I'll take it in under warranty and have them tell me if its the strikers.

Have you ever lubed the seals with Shin-Etsu grease? It really makes a big difference and should be done at least once or twice per year.
