Default Will this fit ? rims 17x9.5 +35

Hey S2KI,
I'm looking around, shopping for some rims for my 02 s2k. I found a Advan Racing 17" Wheels RGII(Gold) that i really like.

I need some advise/input on if this set up will fit? will it rub?(side wall, suspension, fender, etc.) will i need a spacer? etc. My car is not slam, is drop about 1.5 inch, i would say 1 finger clearance.

Its 17x9.5 +35 offset. I'm looking to put 245/40/17 or 255/40/17. Not really sure but please correct/ give me tips.

Thank You!

Wrong section. But....

It will fit fine in the rear, but you might have some trouble in the front. I run the same specs but with a 38 offset. Rear bumper is rolled, slightly pulled, bumper tab relocated, bumper trimmed on the inside and about 2.3 degrees of camber. Lowered to about half an inch from fender to a 255/40/1 tire.

As for the front I have a 17x9+45 and running a 255/40/17 tire, with rolled fenders, trimmed liner and about 1.7 degrees of camber. Will rub on full lock but otherwise its fine. Lowered to about 1/4 inch between fender and tire.

I also have 12K spring rates.

i dont know how you guys are able to get that to fit.. i run 17x9+35 all around, have rear over fenders and front fenders that are an additional 25mm wider and I will rub at the track running 255 tires with max camber the stock adjustments allow.

There's a difference between "fit" on the street and fit on the track though. When your just rolling around town your not compressing the suspension like at the track.

just a heads up you will rub and it will take a lot of CUTTING to make it fit, I have 17x9.5+38 and 255 all around, I had to cut about a inch up off the rear quarter panel and get over fenders like s2k dude said, and ass for the front roll and pull you can trim the fender liner back or take it out, i say take it out, sooner or later your tire will rip it out. also I had to cut my upper fender brace to keep it from rubbing over bumps, dips, dips in the freeway,on ramps,^ there's no difference to driving track or street your suspension will flex you will rub it you don't want to cut

all in all its worth the cutting you don't want to run stretched tires and super negative camber with a kit and replace your tires ever 6 months, keep it functional

Damn Jon, you cut the rears? All I did with mine was roll and slight pull and bumper tab trim. I dont know exatcly how many inches I'm lowered but its definately no finger gap. No issues with rubbing. I'm running same size wheels and tires. Biter! Jk.

Not "wide", high offset... 10-11" wheels are wide on our rides
