Welp, the Oside park and ride is fine by me. C5vette buddy would have to come up this way anyways, unless we decide to go up 15 instead of 5. If it is a 4 hour drive then leaving around 2? would get us past the LA traffic before rush hour? I dunno the way there at all so whatever is fine with me. Any other thoughts?

You can just get a motorcycle helmet rated snell 91. That's what I did. If you get an open faced helmet make sure you bring glasses or goggles as you will probably need eye protection in a convertable. Almost all closed faced helmets have a visor.

I believe the requirement right now is a SNELL-rated helmet, everything in good working condition, and having fresh-to-slightly-worn tires helps a lot. But I would check www.wurthmotorsports.com for details. Unfortunately, it's this Saturday and I don't know if signups will be accepted this late in the game. PM fluxen (John Wurth) if you wanna speak to the organizer in person. Hope this helps!

Guys,
I want to leave San Diego no later than Noon. That'll put us in LA before 2pm to avoid the traffic. Remember this is Friday. Traffic starts early. We can be in Bakersfield by 4pm, check into the hotel, relax, and make dinner at 6pm easy.
Also.. for those that care.. I'm bringing my X-box, couple controllers, and several games with.. including Project Gotham Racing :-) (nope.. no S2K in it though).
Hehe..
