The show is simply amazing. The acting, the drama, the space combat scenes, all the bio-social-geno-political ethical issues... this is quality. And the last episode where they tackle abortion and women's rights? Whoa... deep stuff.
I consider as much of a must-see show as 24.

And.... for those that don't know... Season 1 starts with the Miniseries, then it goes straight into Season 1's episodes, then there's Season 2.0, then there's Season 2.5 which is currently in-progress about 5 or so episodes in.

I dunno, the show I think would appeal to more than just nerds / sci-fi fans because it's a giant What-If kinda scenario with some good acting. I don't like to watch anything else on Sci-Fi channel -- it all B-movie crap (IMHO), except this nice gem of a show.
