I, like BC am not getting A GOD DAMN check either wtf! Ill just have to putup 600 more on the next sports bet to cover it. Either MGM gets a 600 dollar stimulus from me, or I get it from them, keep it in the family at least.

What is different about this war? Do we no longer make our own vehicles/guns/ammo/planes?

Everybody loved the housing boom--it was a big party--everybody getting mad rich...until the debt came due.
The Iraq war is the same thing again. It's a heckava fiesta for KBR, Cheney, Halliburton, etc. We're all making money and dancing the macarena...until the deficit comes due. We haven't felt the pain of the Iraq war yet.
Some Chinese mfg. are already complaining about the weak dollar and increasing their prices to cover the resulting loss during the receivable period.
I like this book:
Against All Enemies: Inside America's War on Terror (ISBN 0-743-26823-7) is a 2004 book by former U.S. chief counter-terrorism advisor Richard A. Clarke
"Soon after 9/11, he says that defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld wanted to bomb Iraq, even though there was no evidence of their involvement, because they had more "good targets" than Afghanistan, which was actually involved.
Clarke also says that on September 12, 2001, President Bush asked him to try to find evidence that Saddam Hussein was connected to the terrorist attacks. In response he wrote a report stating there was absolutely no evidence of Iraqi involvement and got it signed by all relevant agencies (the FBI, the CIA, etc.). The paper was quickly returned by a deputy with a note saying "Please update and resubmit," apparently unshown to the President."
