I think the issue here is why he is doing this in the first place. You can keep the $600 with a better economy and lower gas prices. 
That should lower the 4.00 to 3.30 is you factor 600.00 in and use a rewards card, to get it to 3.10

Bush is a complete douchebag, and Cheney is the Great Satan.
All Bush did was borrow money from the country's credit card and re-distribute the cash unevenly. When the Democrats take over, you'll be railing against them when they tell you it's time to payback the loan Bush gave you. You'll be giving back $600 + $600 more in the next 4 years to pay for the Iraq war and this so-called tax rebate.
Of course, McCain could win and you'll get to delay paying back this tax rebate with even more interest in 4 more years.
We should have left Iraq when it was MISSION ACCOMPLISHED and paid down the deficit with all the money we saved.

This whole anti Bush thing is getting old. I really feel that this whole mess with the deficit and Iraq is not all Bush. I do blame the Bush administration presenting Bush himself false information and advice. Has anyone seen "Bush's War" on A&E I think? It tells you everything that went on and what the administration was doing. That is why Powell left, and why Rumsfeld was forced to leave. All drama. I feel that Bush is actually a very compassionate man, but I do also believe the real "douchbags" are the guys gathering all this false information and presenting it to out President.

Just pulled out from the war will make things much better. Not as easy as we talk, but this is pretty much where it hurts our economy.
People are not confident enough to spend their money or simply lost their jobs.
They should have just made a fake Bin Laden and declared they have captured him or something to end the war. This would save Bush's face.
