Default Where do you buy your vitmns and supps?

I used to buy all my stuff from various stores, mainly Costco and Vitamin World, but now im considering Purityproducts.com. They have quality stuff, particularly their fish oil. I've heard that fish oil is fish oil, but I know for a fact that each brand has different levels of EPA, DHA, and Omega-3. Purityproducts is kinda pricey but i think it might be worth it. I found out about the site on a radio infomercial. Should i spend the extra $$$ at purity or should i just keep going to costco, vitamin world, etc for my stuff?

Vitamin Shoppe!!!

Go online, put all the products that you want to buy in your "Cart" and print it out. Take that sheet to your local store and make sure they honor the online pricing.

Or simply order online if you're not in a hurry.

Costco, I just take a multi and fish oil. You might justify spending the extra money because the bottle lasts for so long, but are minor increases in ingredients worth it?

I use to get all my stuff from BodyBuilding.com since they have pretty good prices but now I just go to the local store, they are like a 2-3 dollars more than BB.com but I like to support to the local business and the owners and the employees he has are way cool and they actually workout unlike most the GNC or Vitamin Shoppe people. Alot of them have used alto of the products they sell and i use some of the recommendations and they have been good.

I currently use:

ON 100% Whey (post workout & quick absorbing protein)

ON Pro Complex or BSN Syntha 6 (time release supps aka casein, before I goto bed)

NO Shotgun (preworkout), use to use NOXplode.

Xtend (glutamine supplement)

Multivitamin

Fish Oil pills

I take NO Xplode in the morning along with Kre-Alkalyn. Wait about 20 minutes before eating something along with multi-vitamin. Then I'll work while waiting another 20-30 minutes before working out.

While working out I drink Gold Standard protein and L-Glutamine.

Then just drink more GS protein along with every meal throughout the day.

I'll drink about a gallon of water everyday to help with filtration.

I was going to get into the NO-Xplode and all the other "excess" supplementation, but i got smarter and figured out that its not really nec. Besides, wonder how much of the stuff they purport to be in the bottle is actually in there. Remember, most of the stuff in these stores is not FDA regulated.

From personal experience, I started off eating correctly and doing only Calisthenics. I used no supplements. The results I got after two months on this was simply getting skinnier and/or more cut and toned.

Then I started working out with weights and skipping on the supplements for about 1 month. I saw an increase in muscle but I always felt tired. I added Muscle Milk and felt like I had more energy. I also noticed that I had gained some weight while noticing some striations beginning to peek through my skin.

Then I got on all the aforementioned supplements while cycling through some circuit training and heavy weight training. So far I've gained more muscle and have seen great results in terms of build and how much MORE weight I'm pushing up.

I'm happy with the results these supplements have helped me achieve. I'm convinced that supplements do help.

For any supps, the cheapest place to find them is ProSource.net . This will most likely be cheaper than anywhere you can find, plus they carry all the major brands, and shipping is cheap. Only downside is that the shipment takes a little time, but still the 4-8 business days. Not bad for the money you save.
