Default Where to Buy HKS Exhaust Gaskets

Can someone let me know where to purchase new exhaust gaskets in or around Los Angeles (La Brea and Wilshire). I recently purchased an used HKS Hi-Power exhaust and I need the gaskets for (1) from muffler to resonator (looks like a hks one); and (2) from exhaust to cat (Honda?).

Please help. I tried Pep Boys and they said I should try a performance shop.

The gasket on the back of the cat should be good if there is no leaks now. I reuse them all the time. if not Honda for that one. The other gasket. try takeing the old one or thr pipe with the flange to a muffler shop to see if they can match it up. if not just get it from HKS.

Thanks Fusion. I'll try Midas for the HKS one. I tried contacting a few of HKS' authorized dealers and none of them have it (go figure).

I hope you did the research on this puppy when you bought it.

The only research I did was sound and weight . I thought it wouldn't be hard to get since alot of people have the same exhaust.

If sound and wt is your primary objectives, then you'll be happy with this setup. If you are looking at performance, the dyno's, show loss of power to the car.

Yeah, I heard about the loss of power issue as well but I think it was in reference to the hks hiper exhaust (previous model). I haven't heard about the hi-power lossing power but I could be wrong.

Anyhow, the guy I bought it from had a pretty decked out setup and seemed to really know what he was talking about. He sold it because he was getting rid of the car so we'll see how this exhaust goes.

Also, if anyone knows of any "performance" shops in the area, please let me know in case midas doesn't have a gasket. Thanks!

When I needed a gasket I PM'd Duc and got one - small fee but I thought it was worth it.
