What's your opinion about the new coach, Shaq, Kobe, Buss, Odom, etc. Phil says the Lakers times are over w/o shaq as center. What is your opinion?

another possiblity would be to trade grant and possibly goerge and do a sign and trade for dampier w/ golden state if thy resign him. only time will tell cause kobe might be w/the clippers in a couple hours

 

Did you hear the news. Odom has a clause in his contract, that if he gets traded, he earnes more money. Looks like the lakers might need to fork out another 8-9 mil.

yeah i heard it, but did you hear it can be over a period of time and we can possibly get another player or pick from them aswell.
if the lakers can play a fast paced game its gonna be a whole new light cause we dont gotta wait for the fat fool jus to set up the offense anymore!
alls i gotta say and mark my words is PHOENIX SUNS are gonna be the team to beat besides S.antonio in the west.
some might say that they dont see the lakers going all the way due to other teams being so staked, i can kinda agree, but dont underestmate this core of guys w/ odom and grant.
la please bring dampier through a sign and trade...please or another core player...lol
well one thing to look forward to is we can also get 2 first rounders next season or trade one pick away w/ grant

 

If they can bring another player, wouldn't it be great if Eddie Jones came back to LA?

I'm hoping that Caron Butler will get better being with Kobe. The guy has potential, and may just need the right kind of peers to help him reach a higher level.

I'm also hearing that the Lakers are intending to pursue Divac with the mid-level exception. If we get Divac, and re-sign Medvedenko, then Grant can play his natural position of PF behind Odom. If Grant comes off the bench he may be able to play with more energy because he'll be better rested. It will also be nice if he doesn't have to play against centers when he is so undersized.

 

They'll only win if the basket is white and puts up a struggle...

 

What happened to the bulls is whats gonna happen to the lakers.

 

kobe and shaq are both making the biggest mistake in their professional careers. both are ego trippin and just simply being selfish.

i wouldnt expect the lakers to see the playoffs so easy. you still got the wolves, kings, dallas, phoenix, san antonio, houston, and even new orleans ( i think they got switched to the western conference). just cause they have kobe doesnt mean they'll have nothing to worry about.

lakers have no PF or C. the western conference teams will eat up the lakers.

I'm a fan no matter who is on the team. I enjoy the superstars, but I much prefer that the Lakers are LA's team. All these trades and no loyalty to their basketball adopted "home" just pisses me off. It all reminds me of Baseketball "... and the Jazz moved to Utah ... where they don't allow music!"

 

Forget the Lakers. It's all about the Golden State Warriors!!!
