In my gf's bed in her dorm when some of the other students came through banging on everybody's doors telling them to turn on the news. We were at AZ State, which is right under the flight path for Sky Harbor Airport, and it was very eerily quiet that day with all the planes grounded. And since most of the students didn't show up to class that day, the whole campus felt like a cemetary or ghost town.

I was just trying to wake up, it was about 6 AM here, and my Mom called from NYC to say that "they're flying planes into the World Trade Center."

I put on the TV and Tracey and I watched in horror and disbelief while I was still on the phone with my Mom. A little later, they showed a tower fall with the caption "Filmed earlier"..............except there were now no towers standing.......they were showing the SECOND tower collapsing and forgot to take off the caption. I unintentionally slumped down into a squatting position. It was really weird...it was like I was falling with the tower. My Mom said, "Oh, that was the first one" to which I replied, "Ummm....no, Mom, they're both gone." That was when I started to

My opinion? F**K BIN LADEN! Build those towers to look EXACTLY the way they were, with structural improvements (They were just exoskeletons with no real inner columns of support).

Going to high school, I watched those towers being built!!! They were finished the year I graduated!!! Put them back!!

Me too.....I was at Guitar Center at the time and my store manager could not appreciate that, as a New Yorker, I could not think about selling audio while this was happening. I had to stay.......
