Default what size of tires, need help

hi guys i need Suggestion. I just got work emotion rims, the size is 17-7-42 front 17-8-47rear
what size of tires do a get.

Arnell, depending on the actual tire width, doesn't he want something larger up front since a lot of the tires are not as wide as our So2s at "205" ?

With a 17x 7 and 42 offset, anything wider than a 205 would rub. Also a 205 front and 245 rear ratio is the same as OE.

Ahh so it's the offset/rubbing issues?

See - I thought the ratio would be different on 17s by looking at what is on the stock 04s.

Bridgestone RE050 (stock tire on S2000 '04)
215/45WR17 87W SL -- 140 treadwear -- 6.7" contact patch -- 24.8" diameter
245/40WR17 91W -- 140 treadwear -- 9" contact patch -- 24.6" diameter
