I've seen garbage dumpsters that are cleaner than that.

Yeah - hoarding is...interesting. I've had people fill up houses and buy new ones b/c their current one is full. Gone broke renting storage units of their stuff.
Some odd variations - one woman kept her used tampons in under her bed because they were part of her and she couldn't throw them away. All sorts of interesting things out there, which makes my job continually interesting.

That's pretty crazy though.
